Designed for commencing international students, ECU Launch brings together the people, services and opportunities that will support your transition to university. It's your chance to meet other new students, connect with ECU staff, and gain practical insights before classes begin.
Whether you're studying at ECU City or Joondalup, you'll have the opportunity to build new friendships, ask questions, discover the support available throughout your studies, and start feeling part of the ECU community from day one.
What to expect
At ECU LAUNCH, you can:
- Meet fellow commencing international students.
- Connect with ECU's International Office team and in-country representatives.
- Discover the wide range of student support services available at ECU.
- Learn about student life, clubs, societies and opportunities to get involved.
- Gain helpful tips from current students and staff to help you settle into university life.
- Ask questions in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We'll also have a fun interactive quiz with prizes to be won, along with complimentary food and refreshments.

ECU Launch is designed to complement your Orientation experience.
Orientation includes important activities such as your School Orientation and International Student Welcome Day, where you'll receive essential information to help you begin your studies successfully.
We encourage all commencing students to attend their scheduled Orientation activities.
